The
cheetahs have their own special preserve on the ranch. We
could go right up to them. |

The
giraffes are amazing. We saw them up close and personal on
our behind-the scenes tour. |

What
an incredible site! This wolf had the most intelligent eyes. We
were all in awe of him. |

The
Group was divided into two teams. The Cheetah Team consisted
of Darla, Betsy, Mary R. and Kara. Friendly competition was
the order of the day. Their claws were out for the Zebras!
|

The
Zebra Team was Glenda, Dianna, Mary L. and Judy. Both
teams won money, which they promptly donated to Fossil Rim
to help them continue the conservation efforts.
|

One
of the highlights of the trip was a four-hour guided tour of the
ranch. Here we are loading. |

A
giraffe tries to give Judy a kiss! Imagine getting this close to
one of nature's wonders. |

Just
as Betsy aimed her camera, this exotic deer turned for a profile.
He knew how to pose! |

These
rhinos were enjoying the sunny day. |

The
proverbial north end of a southbound zebra!
|

But
the zebra quickly turned around and tried to get into the
picture with Mary L. Or did Mary try to get into the zebra's
picture? Hmmm. We wonder...
|

One
evening, Gene Gustafson, our Brighton salesman, joined us
for some intense training on Brighton merchandise. He always
makes things fun!
|

Kara
Black, our high school student staff member, loved the opportunity
to feed a giraffe
|

Our
accomodations were tents! Each slept two people and were
quite comfortable.
